Not sure there is a model that is right for you? Think again. There is an extensive range of heat pump models with various installation and design options.
> Placement
Heat pumps can be mounted in any of the following ways:
> wall mounted
> floor mounted
> concealed ducted within the ceiling or under
floor
> cassettes recessed into ceiling
> Compressor Speed
Some models operate at a 'fixed speed', or for greater energy efficiency...check out the latest using 'inverter' technology. Inverter technology offers even more energy savings over a fixed speed model. It achieves this by matching compressor speed output to the required load demand.

> Type of System
The models range from a 'single unit system' through to 'ducted' and 'multi-split' systems.
Single unit split system - ideal for air conditioning one room or area of your home. The system includes an inside unit, usually a wall mounted or compact floor console, and an exterior unit. Split systems offer the latest in inverter technology and the new flat panel design provides a very stylish and easy care finish.
Ducted heat pump systems - ideal for heating more than one room of your house. A single indoor unit is either located under the floor or in the ceiling space, with ducting and mounted grilles linking each of the chosen rooms. A single, external compressor unit is installed outside the home.
Multi-split heat pump systems - this option allows a number of internal heat pump units to be supported by a single external unit. Often this is a suitable option where space for ducting is limited, or where more individual use on a room by room basis is desired.
